The Red Deer Region can accommodate events on a world-class scale. Red Deer has attracted events such as the Sears Open Figure Skating Championship and the Scott Tournament of Hearts.
The Region is home to a wealth of recreation and cultural programs including dinner theatres by Central Alberta Theatre. The area is well known for its rodeos and exhibitions including Western Canada’s largest indoor agricultural equipment trade show, Agri-Trade.
Red Deer is the proud home of the Red Deer Rebels—a champion Western Hockey League (WHL) Team.
With almost 170 restaurants in Red Deer alone, the Region caters to food lovers of all backgrounds.
