The Red Deer Regional Economic Development (RDRED), consists of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce, The City of Red Deer, Red Deer County, and Red Deer College. Formed in 2001, with the College joining in 2006, the partnership exists to create strategic economic development initiatives aimed at attracting, retaining, and expanding business investment and labour force within the Red Deer Region

The structure of RDRED was reviewed as part of the strategic planning process. While there is a desire to keep the structure simple and relatively informal, it is suggested the following formalities be adopted;

A three year memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by each partner

A brief annual plan that outlines objectives, performance measures and budget.

Result reporting through a brief written annual report and an annual information session.
