• Real estate is as attractive as ever, as values and lease rates become affordable, yet remain competitive with other major Alberta cities.

Record Real Estate Sales

• In the past 5 years, over 18,000 building permits were issued in the City and County of Red Deer. These permits had a value of nearly $2.5 billion dollars.
• Though real estate numbers have decreased in respone to the global economic downturn, the Region still saw a healthy amount of spending. There was a total of $189 million dollars in permits issued in 2009.
